The Search

The search for truth is like an archeologist who finds what he thinks is an ancient artifact in a piece of earth. He brushes away the earth slowly and thoroughly to ensure he doesn't damage the artifact. But when he finishes, he finds that there was nothing there to begin with.

Sometimes knowing that someone else is asking the same question is more important than knowing the answer.

Silence Mocks Wisdom

To create a blog under the title of "Silence Mocks Wisdom" makes little sense - and that's part of the point. It seems to me that all of life is a paradox, and any statement is both foolish and wise. Language is wholly insufficient to communicate truths. However, I have no talent for expressing myself through any other means that I'm aware of. This blog is simply a list of my thoughts that seemed worth sharing (or perhaps just thoughts I wished to remember). Some will turn out to be utter nonsense, but perhaps a few will find people in a similar state of mind.
